When life gets hectic, stressful, sad, overwhelming…I get lost in something DIY or home related. It brightens my spirit and helps me re-focus on the good things I have to be grateful for. With my every moment planned out to the second lately, I’ve had a bit of those feelings going on, so how appropriate that Fall is now upon us. This meant I could lose myself one afternoon decorating small spaces around the house.
I went a bit overboard on the front porch…but why not?! Fall only comes once a year, right?
The only new item on the front porch is the wreath on the door. I found it at a local craft store. My older wreath is on display inside this year.
I finally broke down and ordered an entry table that will sit behind the front door. You can see how tight the space is back here, which is part of the reason it took so me long to bite the bullet…
Of course, I planned on building my own entry table, but when I grabbed the new carpet you see above, I fell in love with a console table at Pottery Barn. It arrives Friday and can hardly wait to decorate it and finally finish out my entry. It’s been pretty barren for 2 years. Can’t wait to hang some pictures of the kids above the table too!
One of my favorite DIY builds is my mantle in the living room…
I enjoy decorating this little corner every holiday, not only for Fall and Winter.
This console table, also a PB piece, is another favorite spot for decor…
Love my little turkey! He was a cute find last year at Pottery Barn…
Of course, it isn’t Halloween without candy…
Our friendly outdoor spiders came back to visit this season…
Skelly is back too! Even if our beloved Giants didn’t do well this season, like me – he’s still a die-hard fan…#punintended
Have a few more Fall interior shots coming soon! Hope you’ve had a great start to fall and are enjoying some decor therapy of your own!
Can’t wait to see your christmas decor
Awe, thank you!
