My Favorite Organized Space with Abby Lawson

Jul 28

Excited to share that you can find me today over on Abby Lawson’s website, Just A Girl & Her blog! Every summer Abby hosts a great group of bloggers for a series called My Favorite Organized Space. I love peeking inside the homes of the those featured in her series because I love to see how they’re organizing AND decorating. In true non-decorator Sam fashion, the favorite space I contributed is my organized garage. But honestly, it is my favorite organized space!

From my DIY mudroom…

It’s seriously hands-down my favorite space in this house. Because you guys know how my kitchen looks. #ahem

Abby asks each of the blogger’s in her series 5 questions about the space:

How do you and / or your family use this space everyday?

What are some of the systems you’ve implemented to help the space stay organized?

What did you do to make sure the space was both functional and beautiful at the same time?

Do you have any funny / happy / sweet / interesting stories about this space?

What is it about this organized space that makes it your favorite?

To hear my answers and see a lot more photos, go take a look at my favorite space on Abby’s site! You can read it here!

If you’re looking for even more inspiration, check out the blogger’s featured so far during this fun, summer series!…

I am totally in back-to-school organization mode over here. Do we still have a few weeks of summer left? Yes! But yesterday I had a school meeting and this weekend is the uniform re-sale. School offices open again on August 1 (next week!). And I just realized 2 of my kids don’t have backpacks. After using their backpacks for more than 3 years, I donated them last year because they were really run down. I forgot! Here I thought school supplies had been purchased and we were ready to go…not so much! Hello, backpacks! My head is totally in back-to-school mode and I’m getting excited! Anyone else?

Have a great day guys!
