Hi! Dusting off this keyboard to share a long overdue update. And say Happy September! My absolute favorite time of year is turning the calendar to August 1. It means football, fall baseball, cooler weather, hard knocks, holidays and more are on the way. I also sort of don’t like the calendar change because these months fly by too quickly.
I’m already enjoying the new football season and celebrated our 49ers kick-off with a win AND some of my oldest / best high school friends. More of these gatherings during the season please!…
HIRED MORE TEAM MEMBERS
I have SO MANY things to update with you! Let’s start with a couple great developments; I WILL be back to blogging regularly. Definitely once a week, possibly twice. And here’s why!…
After years of managing everything in-office by myself, I hired a local candidate perfect for the assistant position. Shockingly, after a week into training her, I received a resume from another local woman looking for an assistant position with us. And she has experience with a couple platforms I need someone to be proficient in from day one. I went from zero help to having 2 whole assistants. Our 2nd assistant starts tomorrow but I already know she will be an incredible addition to our in-office team.
I’d say I don’t know how I got lucky, but I do know. I slowed down and took action! Complied the job description, posted it on Indeed, screened applicants, set up interviews and hired the best candidate after serious consideration. The assistant position is an interesting and fun mix of responsibilities, with a lot of room for growth. Excited to continue building the team but really more excited to finally have much-needed help.
Having them on board to help means I WILL have time during the week to get back to doing the things I love – blogging being top of the list. I’m looking forward to sharing consistent content – both organizing projects and personal posts.

WHERE TO SHOP OUR SPACES
One of the top projects we are working on in-office is fully updating the ShopMy page. Previously, I would share our shoppable projects and finds on Like to Know It. The platform has posed issues over the years and honestly isn’t user-friendly…causing shoppers to jump through hoops to get anywhere, among other bullet points I don’t like. Therefore, I found a better, easier platform that’s beautiful and easy to navigate. You can now find our spaces categorized on ShopMy. We are continuing to build out the platform, adding projects from years and years of portfolio work. This is our current full-time job with the 3 of us working in-office together. A lot of thought has gone into this change and we’d love to have you add us to your ShopMy circle!
If you are an LTK lover, we will continue sharing the content there, but ShopMy will have the spaces linked and detailed first.
RECENT FINDS
Before Fall officially arrives each year, I walk around our downtown stores to see what is current, get some inspiration for upcoming client projects, see what colors are trending and more. Last week I spent a day wandering in and out of stores. Pottery Barn was absolutely gorgeous! And I fell in love with all of these colors…especially the deep green blanket. So pretty!…

DOWN TO ONE
Hard to believe that 2 of my 3 babies are in college and not at home. I miss them SO MUCH…especially during football season. I’ll have a separate post about an 8-day road trip my son and I did to move him into college out of state. We had an amazing time on the road! Saw so many cool sites and new landscapes…and hit up a couple baseball games along the way. One of the many highlights of our road trip was stopping in the Stockyards. SOOOO fun and unique!…
