25 Days of Elf On The Shelf: Days 17 – 25

Dec 26

Welcome to the 3rd installment of 25 Day of Elf On The Shelf! You can see days 1 – 9 here and days 10 – 16 here.
We had so much fun with our scout elf, Freddie. He lightened our season and we’re already looking forward to his return next year!

We love to watch sports and Freddie got into the spirit along with us!

Had some mischievous behavior as we inched closer to Christmas, so Freddie decided to ride along  in the car…keeping a close eye on the kids.

Or maybe he was curious to know what we did in the car all day. Trust me, Freddie – nothing exciting. Just a whole lot of driving all over town…

Someone was having a lot of fun…

From the playroom, all the way down the stairs…that is how much fun!…

The boys loooooved it and it re-ignighted their love of playing with the seemingly thousands of Disney Cars in the house…

We even had a Cars movie day in honor of Freddie. 🙂

On day 20, Freddie played a friendly game with a sweet friend…

But his face makes me wonder if he’s playing fair?….

On day 21 Freddie disguised himself on top of Rudolph’s back…

The kids almost missed him hiding on the table full of Christmas friends…

Don’t think Rudolph was real happy with this one…

Over the last week our star was beginning to tilt. Freddie was trying to be helpful by straightening it for us…

Looks like he got stuck in the process…

Who would’ve thought a roll of toilet paper could be so much fun!…

Day 24 was extra special. Freddie returned from the north pole with letters from Santa for each of the kids. He delivered the letters in their stockings…

The letters are postmarked from the North Pole, too….which was a huge thrill!…

(This was easy to do. I found the history about the program and directions on the USPS website right here. If you’d like to do this next year, be sure to pin it so you remember. Very fun!)
Freddie was looking rather proud of himself for making the kids so happy…

The letters arrived on santa’s letterhead

It’s the day we’ve been hoping would not come so soon…time for Freddie to fly back to the North Pole with Santa. It will certainly be a long 11 months until he returns!

This year, Freddie did the same thing he did last year before hopping onto the sleigh with santa. He took a photo of Santa setting out the gifts….

(If you’d like to do this next year, you can find the website right here.)

Freddie also left behind a letter for the kids…just a note expressing how much fun he had with us this season. He left the photo of santa and his letter next to the plate of cookies/carrots and cup of milk.

Hope you enjoyed following along and wish you a very happy new year!
