Gift wrapping is one of my favorite tasks during the holiday season.The bright wrapping, ribbons and tiny embellishments…especially mini candy canes – love it all!

Since our family is out of state, I begin wrapping/shipping early in the month. That way we’re certain gifts have enough time to arrive well before Christmas. Making the wrapping /  shipping experience easier is easy when you set up an organized gift wrap station…

A folding table, wrapping and shipping supplies is all that’s needed to make a temporary gift-wrap station. Once everything is organized, it means everything is within reach while standing at the table.

The grey bin holds smaller items used for adding to the outside of a package, like mini candy canes, sparkly twist ties, sticker gift tags, and more…

Be sure to make space for packing tape, regular gift-wrapping tape, scissors, ribbon, and boxes for wrapping odd shaped items. I like to recycle boxes from previous Christmas holiday seasons…

You can also re-use items to keep your station super organized…like this noel tin. It was part of a gift received a few years ago that is now being used to contain pens and scissors. When I’m done with a wrapping session, I just grab the tin and remove it from the table so the kids can’t get into it…
