A row of beautiful evergreen bushes that will eventually grow together into a hedge. I wanted some dimension along the front of the left path…
There is a row of lavender…
If you’ve been reading along since day 1 of this home purchase, it’s hard to believe just how much this front yard has changed…
I just love this view!!!….
Along the back side, closest to the house on both the right and left sides of the path, I added several hydrangea bushes…
White hydrangea’s on the right side and colors on the left side…
And I added morning glories to both white lattice’s….
You can see we’ve figured out the drainage issue over here so I was able to move forward with the path. It’s not done yet, but it’s getting there. You can also see the pretty blue and pink hydrangea on this side…
In front of the hydrangea, I’m going to add another bordered section for annuals…
This are my absolute favorite flower!…
I’ve prepped the path with liner before laying the pea gravel and stones…
While I love seeing all the beautiful color, don’t get me wrong….I am constantly reminded there is still so much work to be done! Namely, these gardening items out front to remind me how slow this process is going…
The remaining path stones…
I have to take moments to enjoy the work that has been completed. This front yard has been a very tough, slow job with all the little issues from drainage to leveling and, of course, the expense of it all! But I have to remind myself, there has been big progress steps…
But if you need any gardening tools, I’ve got you covered. When I’m done, of course!…
This little plant was left behind by the previous owners but it was a tiny little nothing when we moved in. I had no idea what it was until spring arrived and it started blooming. Lucky me, it’s another hydrangea! Color to be determined upon blooming…
The morning glories are very happy in their new home…
That’s my little front yard update. Back soon with another in a few weeks. Hopefully it will be much different than this!
