Hope you had a perfect Thanksgiving and aren’t feeling overwhelmed with those Black Friday e-mails flooding your inbox. Here’s a quick tip from your professional organizer friend…this is a great time to unsubscribe from e-mails you no longer wish to receive. Chances are every single company you’ve shared your e-mail address with is sending you e-mails (many times over) today. This is a great time to scroll to the bottom of those e-mails and unsubscribe. Sometimes it takes a week or two for you to stop receiving e-mails, but I promise – it’s worth the little bit of extra time. Suddenly you’ll notice your inbox is feeling a lot lighter.

There’s been so much going on with Simply Organized that I haven’t had a moment to share some exciting accomplishments. For example, the fact I contributed to articles in both the November and December issues of Redbook Magazine – what??!! Seriously. Still shaking my head over that. I also haven’t mentioned that I’m a member of the Better Homes & Gardens network (pinch me!).  Having too much fun being a member of this group and looking forward to contributing content at some point.

One of the fun ongoing projects I have with BHG is pinning to a couple boards on their Pinterest account. And today we have a brand new board that I’d love for you to check out – it’s a Holiday Bash Pinning Party. There’s nearly 1,000 pins added already. Some great ideas have been shared!…
