Happy Sunday everyone! What are you up to this weekend? Thanksgiving meal planning?…Holiday shopping or browsing online?…Decorating your home?…Prepping for guests? I’ve had a packed work schedule and while I’ve loved every moment with my clients, I’ve purposely slowed my schedule to a halt for the week. Am instead looking forward to time in the kitchen, moments with family and friends, and sharing here on the blog! I miss my blog time and connecting with all of you!
I have some great projects to share throughout the rest of the year and will, of course, invite you into my home for my little Christmas decor tour, but over the next couple weeks I also have a couple posts planned to help with your holiday shopping. Personally, my goal is to be totally done with Christmas shopping (for extended family and friends) by the end of November. Each year I wait until the last minute and end up shopping for everyone PLUS my kids. This usually means I’m up late at night shopping online or gift wrapping / packaging to get to the post office first thing the next day to beat the crowds. The season feels as if it flew by without the down time to thoroughly enjoy it. Anyone else relate?
If you too have the same game plan in mind…I’ll be sharing my favorite list of items from The Container Store – for those with an organization lover on your list. Then I’ll share a post that’s a mix of organization and more…it’s my list of favorite items and gifts I have planned for the people I love – including unique teacher and neighbor gifts! When it comes to gift giving, as you can probably guess – I give with intention and purpose. I buy with the recipient in mind and gift them with items I know they will love and find useful! So hopefully my little tips will be helpful to your shopping conundrums.
But I am SO excited and honored to have been invited to be a part of a gift series called Stuff We Love, hosted by one of my all time favorite bloggers…Sarah of Thrifty Decor Chick. I’ve read her blog for years. Literally. I’ve been left in awe over her amazing DIY projects and talent (and humor)…and I’m sorry, but if you haven’t seen her brand new kitchen you’re missing out…

The girl has some serious talent and was beyond excited (and a little nervous, to be totally honest) to finally meet her in person this summer at the Haven Conference in Atlanta. She’s a total doll and, while this may seem silly, I’m honored she invited me to join this amazing group of bloggers to share the stuff we love this holiday season. The blogger community is truly unique and am proud to be a small part of it. Thank you, Sarah!
The Stuff We Love series is happening this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you’re looking for some unique yet special gift ideas, you won’t want to miss it. I’m excited because I’m hoping their favorites will help me finally wrap up the rest of my gift giving and meet my goal of being 100% done by the end of the month – yay!
Here’s the schedule so you can follow along! We look forward to welcoming you!
Can’t wait to see what amazing organizing favorite things you have to share!!!
Awe! Can’t wait to share my favorites….and can’t wait to see your favorites on Wednesday!
xoxo,
Sam
