Beautifully Organized with Command Products

Mar 18

I’ve been anxious to share more details about my 2016 partnership with Command Brand. I’ll share more of a behind-the-scenes soon, but today – you’re seeing my first completed project! Ahhhh, so excited about this you guys! Still pinching myself that I was invited to join them this year. What you can expect to see this year are original organization projects created by me using their innovative, useful line…which by the way, is far more than what you’re accustomed to seeing and using in your own home. Wait until you see their new organization products! This partnership was meant to be as my mission is to help folks simplify. And no other solution is simpler than damage-free hanging. #DoNoHarm Command products are a standard in my client toolbox. Can’t wait to share my projects throughout the year here on the blog!

For my first project, I was challenged with a “beautifully organized” theme. Using Command™ Large Clear Hooks, Jewelry Racks and Jewelry & Scarf Racks, I created a whimsical and functional space for one very lucky little girl…

And now you can too! If you have a little girl, you’re all too familiar with their ever-changing interests. Command products give you the ability to create and re-create (time and again!) any space in her bedroom or playroom without damaging surfaces. It’s easy to apply and remove with no tools required! #yay

To create this precious dress-up corner, I used the following Command products:

3 Command™ Large Clear Hooks

2 Command™ Jewelry Racks

2 Command™ Banner Anchors

5 Command™ Medium Picture Hanging Strips

Starting with a clean, blank slate, and as described on the packaging, you’ll clean the surfaces where you’d like to adhere Command Products…

I started by measuring 3 equivalent sections of the wall to hang the Large Clear Hooks…

Following the directions on the package, adhere the hooks to the wall and press firmly for 30 seconds. You’ll want to allow the hooks to sit for an hour before hanging anything. Which is fine, because you’ll be hanging more products in this cute little space!

Next, I added 2 Banner Anchors above the Hooks…

Then I added 2 Jewelry Racks to the side of her dresser, which helped create more of a nook feel to this corner of the room…

I am so in love with the Jewelry Racks! Just think of all the uses for this great design!

While the products set, I got to work on the whimsical pieces for this space; 5 circular paper fans and an inspirational banner…

Once the circular fans were assembled, I played around with a wall placement idea on the floor. This is the same way I’d design a photo wall gallery…

Then I adhered 1 Medium Picture Hanging Strip to the back side of each, allowing them to set…

At this point I couldn’t wait to see the completed space. The colors came together beautifully on the floor…now to see them upright!

Hanging the banner on the anchors couldn’t be easier. It’s a matter of wrapping the string around the center…

With the banner hanging, I adhered each of the circular fans on the wall above, applying pressure for 30 seconds to make sure each was set in place…

This is why first laying out the design on the floor helps. Once you have that design in mind, it’s a matter of moving each fan to the wall one at a time until…

I’m looking forward to sharing another project in May – it’s already completed and am itching to share! #patiencesam

If you love Command products as much as I do (I have a feeling you do!), you must check out their amazing project lineup. They’ve partnered with bloggers for a long time and each of those projects are on the site as well. I found myself totally lost in the endless ideas! You can find their project section right here.

Now go organize something beautifully…and simply!

Opinions are my own and additional products used in the project were selected by me.”

I’ve been working on finishing a jewelry hanging project and couldn’t figure out what to hang the jewelry on. I know, right? So this would probably be perfect!
What’s the chance of it hanging on to fabric with modpodge on it? Cause that’s what it would be going on to. I could do hooks but I don’t think it would look as nice.
And as always, great work! Command picked an excellent blogger and I can already tell I’ll be buying more because of you 😉

      Hi Angela!

Thank you so much! I’m grateful they asked and this is going to be a fun partnership!

These will definitely work for hanging on a wall, but not sure I’d recommend using it in the way you’re thinking. Sounds very creative though!

      Thank you again!!

      xoxo,
      Sam

I'd Love To Hear From You!
