It’s that time of year again. April showers brings…. Spring Cleaning?! Don’t you know it! It’s been a crazy few weeks for me, but I’m trying to accomplish some cleaning projects around the house to get it aired out from the rainy blahs. We had a huge rainy season here in the Bay Area – much needed, but ready to get everything inside and out clean again. I don’t know about you, but the one part of my house I cringe despise loathe am not very fond of cleaning is the bathroom. But… I found the perfect way to Make Bathroom Cleaning Fun During Your Spring Cleaning Routine.
Let’s face it. Cleaning the bathroom is just not a fun job. Especially if you have kids, like I do. Ahem, boys anyone? What is it about the bathroom that they decide to have free reign to make it as messy and unorganized as possible? And it happens SO quickly. I could clean their bathrooms in the morning and by the evening, after teeth are brushed, it’s as if I never touched the space.
Not only that, it’s a pretty thankless job. Nobody is clapping and cheering when you’re done cleaning the bathroom. Have more than one bathroom? That’s even more fun. Not!
Make Bathroom Cleaning Fun During Your Spring Cleaning Routine
But I have a secret. I found a way to actually make it not only bearable, but a bit more enjoyable. I only use one type of cleaning product and that’s Mrs. Meyers…
*This is not a sponsored post, my friends. I’ve been working with this local company since they used to be called ePantry.
Over the years of blogging, I’ve talked about my love of Mrs. Meyer’s. I love that it’s safe to use, environmentally friendly and comes in a range of scents. I’m prone to headaches from scents that are too strong. Can anyone relate? I’ve been able to find several amongst her line that don’t give me a headache.
I’ve really enjoyed being a member of Grove Collaborative for several years because they make the process of having everything I need for the house way too easy! This includes being able to purchase Mrs. Meyer’s from Grove. Take a look at the current situation under my sink…

I have a variety of hand soaps, multi-surface sprays, dish soaps, sponges and more. No chance I’ll find myself searching for a cleaning product because I already have a nice stock to grab from. I’ve talked about Grove in the past and I will continue to partner with them because I believe in their mission and they make it simple to have what you want / need delivered right to your door.
Right now, if you order through Grove Collaborative, you’re going to get some fun FREE STUFF. Yes, I said free!
Grove Collaborative is offering my readers these bathroom cleaning “must haves” for free with your very first order of $20:
- Free Mrs. Meyer’s Hand Soap
- Free Mrs. Meyer’s Hand Lotion
- Free Mrs. Meyer’s Tub & Tile
- Free Grove Collaborative Walnut Scrubber Sponges
- Free Shipping & 60 Day VIP Trial
And if you’re already a customer, they’ve got you covered – you’ll receive a Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap. I consider a nice hand soap a “must” for a clean bathroom, and Mrs. Meyer’s soaps are my favorite!
My personal favorite scent right now is Geranium. During the fall, I fell in love with Mum. But Geranium is a very nice light flowery scent.
Grove Collaborative has the best customer service and while it might sound crazy that I wouldn’t stop at my local store to grab products, it’s easier to have it delivered to my door. It’s one less thing I have to fit into my schedule, so why not? It also ensures I have cleaning products on hand 100% of the time not just for my own house, but for client work, as well.
Mrs. Meyer’s tub & tile cleaner is a game changer!
Traditional cleaners tend to give me that headache I mentioned and cleaning the tub / shower was about the least favorite thing on my list anyway. I also wasn’t a big fan of scrub, scrub, scrubbing away, and not feeling like it was truly ‘clean’. I gave Mrs. Meyer’s Tub and Tile cleaner a try and it works so well on buildup from hard water and it smells ahhhh-mazing!

I never thought of sponges as a bathroom cleaning necessity until I started using these walnut scrubber sponges. The scouring side is made from crushed walnuts and is great for cleaning grout, while the soft side is perfect for wiping down sinks and shower glass. I always keep a couple of these in my cleaning kit and now I hate to be without them!
I love keeping a supply of tub & tile cleaner upstairs in my bathroom. The kids generally use this tub and shower, so it’s nice to have a stash upstairs too…
And since I’m always on top of any organizing needs, I like to do a quick check and stock up on essentials like toothpaste, deodorant, and toilet paper while I’m in there cleaning. Since I’ve started using Grove, I can add those items to my next shipment and they arrive at my door, on my schedule. Grove has saved me countless trips to the store!
This offer truly makes bathroom cleaning so much easier, so don’t miss out. The offer ends THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 9TH, and supplies are limited.
