Happy Monday, friends! It’s time to kick off another week in this beautiful new year with a little organization and an awesome giveaway! And this giveaway…this product….it’s one of those things we see and all collectively slap ourselves on the forehead and say, “Why didn’t I think of that?!”.
After moving into the new house a few months ago, one of the first spaces to get organized was my master bathroom. I’m still head over heels about my organized bathroom shelving (the Studio Wall Gallery from Pottery Barn, for those wondering)…
It has given me the space to stow away everything I use on a daily basis. As I approach the big 4-0 (ahem), sadly that amount of stuff needed daily is growing. Ugh! And I needed this shelving because the bathroom doesn’t have a built-in vanity or sink with cabinets underneath…
In addition to having no hidden storage, I’ve been struggling with the teeny amount of space I have to work with on this pedestal sink…
When I get ready each morning I usually have quite a few things on the sink; a hand towel, coffee cup, my phone and whatever item I’m working with at the moment…make-up, a hair brush, lip gloss tubes, eye lash curler, whatever. But I can only have one or two things sitting on this sink at any given time. Otherwise they slip right into the sink bowl or fall off the edge of the sink all together and onto the floor.
I’ve been curling my hair a lot more lately so a new concern of mine has been the fact my sink is close to the door…and that my kids can easily walk in and accidentally touch or grab my hot curling iron. You can see how close the bathroom is here to the office / door….
And when there is a hot curling iron, I also have a comb or brush and hair spray….which means even I am prone to getting burned, or just plain frustrated, with the little counter space I have to work with…
So when my friends at Hot Iron Holster asked me to check out their new product, you can see I couldn’t have been happier to try out this new solution for containing my hot curling iron…and freeing up space on my tiny bathroom sink!…
Yes, my friends, this product is going to change your beauty life for the better!
What is the Hot Iron Holster? It’s a heat-resistant, water-resistant silicone pouch that solves the problem of where to put hot styling tools. The proprietary silicone material simply clings to any clean, smooth surface, without the use of adhesives or suction cups…
And holds that hot styling tool for you, keeping you and the kids in your life safe from burns…
And again, because I’m an organizer, what I love most is that it de-clutters that tiny bathroom sink in my life…
This product was invented by a busy mom with small children. Erin Balogh, the inventor of the Hot Iron Holster, was frustrated with the small amount of space she had on her pedestal sink. Being an emergency room nurse and mother, she also had concerns about her children touching her hot styling tools. She created the original Hot Iron Holster with an oven mitt and hot pad, but ultimately (and thankfully for all of us!) she designed the Hot Iron Holster you can now purchase.
The Hot Iron Holster is heat-resistent to 500 degrees, holds your hot styling tools while in use, clings to any clean, smooth surface and you can use it anywhere you do your hair – at home, at work, and when you travel!
As well as a Professional Holster that has a longer flap with a roomier pocket.
And today I am not only excited to share this great space saving product with you guys….
But I’m super excited to give away 2 Hot Iron Holsters to 2 very lucky readers! All you have to do is enter the giveaway via the rafflecopter gadget below. There are a few mandatory entry guidelines, along with several other optional entries to up your chances of winning this great product!
