Hey everyone! Welcome to Simply Organized on WordPress!

Wow, what a week!

And why was I so emotional saying goodbye to my old blog? It was like I sent a child away to college or something. I found myself moping around the house on Monday when the process began…searching around like a lost soul. I was talking to clients, doing home office work and other home chores…I was like “what am I doing?!”. I’ll admit it, I even cried a little. #pathetic Kidding aside, as silly as it sounds, I had to grieve a bit that day. My blogger blog is where it all began. I completely self-taught myself how to do any and everything over there. Over the years the style (and my style) changed and I tweaked it until I finally landed on the clean appearance you saw in recent months. There was always a new Youtube tutorial to teach me something different to try. Just a lot of memories made so I allowed myself that one day to feel sad.

But now – psh…it’s all good! Look at me!…I’m posting on WordPress!

You may notice at first glance that not a whole lot appears to have changed. It will change a lot later this month. Lesley went in after the transfer to make everything look as normal as possible and she removed all of the pink from the WordPress theme we chose. So, I hope the site looks somewhat familiar and you can navigate. When the new site is up and revealed later this month there will be a landing page…and the blog will be a separate page. It will look a whole mess different later.

I have so much to share and can’t wait to really get the hang of this new place so I can get back to regular posting. This week I worked with a few clients, which definitely snapped me out of that funk, and I have a few awesome organization products to share and of course I have to catch you up to speed on the branding / new site process.
