our master bathroom

Jul 20

i’ve shared bits and pieces of our master bathroom on the blog, but have yet to share an overall look. today i’m finally going to share more details about this space!

our master bedroom space extends the length of one side of the house. you enter through the office, walk into the bedroom…into the bathroom…and finally end in the master closet. you can see a better idea of the pathway in this photo…i’m standing in the office taking this shot…

as you enter the bathroom, our tub is the main feature on the left side…

the closed door to the left is the toilet room. the entry on the right is into the shower. this is our kids favorite bathtub in the house…and ours too!…

looking opposite of the bathtub…

an impromptu towel shelf i assembled a few months ago…it’s working for now, but won’t stay like this forever…

my side of the bathroom…

my hubby’s side of the bathroom, which is basically a mirror image of my side…

we found this candle wall decor on major sale at pottery barn after we moved in (5 years ago). i fell in love with it instantly and it fits very well on this large wall…

entry to the shower…

a little view into the toilet room…nothing very exciting in here. i did previously share the inside of the cabinets right here

chandelier over the bathroom…

matching sconces…

i love our bathroom and feel completely spoiled in this space, but have to admit my favorite thing about the bathroom is the view from the window…

the window looks out onto our patio and a portion of the yard.

since i’m talking about bathrooms, i thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite things inside the bathroom. i love love love this masque from Kiehl’s….

i love all of their products, but this masque in particular is amazing.

my precious sister-in-law gave me this awesome lip scrub as a birthday gift…

love it!!

i also love my wild honeysuckle candle from anthro. this was a gift to myself for my birthday…

and finally, a pretty bowl our 7 year old made for mother’s day…

it’s a great bowl for dropping my bracelets and rings into at the end of the day. and it’s beautiful and has so much meaning to me.

i hope you enjoyed my little bathroom tour!

It’s pretty spacious and impressive! The yellow lighting blended with the color of the walls beautifully. It just sets a relaxing ambience to the room. Actually, everything, from the drawer, vanities, sink, countertops, to the bath tub, all match up!
