When the weather is a little warmer, I have plans to blog from out there…instead of at the kitchen table…
The view is perfect…
But blogging from a table with pool gear sitting on top?…
Especially when I write about organization? Not going to fly, friends.
Wire Shelf Additions challenged me to assemble one of their 5 Shelf Multi-Purpose Storage Racks (shelves with tapered locks). And it couldn’t have been easier to assemble! Wire Shelf Additions knows about great shelving and organization. To begin with, check out how pretty they package it!…
To assemble the shelf, I removed all of the contents…
And followed the easy to assemble instructions, included in the box…
First I connected both ends of the poles…
Snapped on the tapered locks that hold up each shelf…
Added the bottom shelf…
Stood the unit upright…
And worked my way up the shelving by simply adding the tapered locks in the desired spot…
My shelf was assembled in less than 20 minutes – so easy!…
Once the shelf was assembled, I added on a few extras (not included in the giveaway), like this awesome swing bracket…
The brackets are added with the same tapered lock…
You’ll see below how I used them to organize pool floaties.
Once the shelf was done, it was time to go to my happy place and organize all of that fun pool gear. I stopped at target last week to grab a few bins and baskets that would hold up to outdoor elements. If you follow on Instagram you may recognize this…
Here’s my new organized pool gear station…
A closer look at each shelf – starting up top! On the top shelf is a little bin (already owned this – used to be in the pantry) that holds baby wipes and swim diapers. We have friends with teeny ones, so having these available will be helpful…
I used $1 office organizers (from the Target $1 section) to organize sunblock, bug spray and after sun lotion…
On the next shelf down are fresh towels – kids and adult sizes…
On the 3rd shelf are 3 stackable bins that hold goggles and various toys…
As summer gets closer and we gather more toys, these bins will surely be packed. And the beauty is I can always buy more to stack on the shelf. The shelves are the perfect size for stacking bins!
On the bottom shelf is 2 baskets that hold additional pool toys and games…
The swing brackets are holding floaties…
And finally, a basket to hold dirty towels…
I’d say this is a much better system than what I had previously, wouldn’t you?!…
The beauty of this awesome shelving is that you can use it wherever and however you wish. The possibilities are endless! In the kitchen, garage, office…anywhere! You can also buy a variety of components and accessories to make the shelving totally unique to you and your needs.
Use it to hang clothing…
Use it to stack firewood…
Or my personal favorite – create a wine shelf!…
The shelving is sturdy too!

I would use this shelf to do exactly as you have! Thanks to your blog, my home is so much more organized! My husband loves coming home to see what my latest "project" has been.
I would definitely use this to hold all of my crafts since I don't have a craft room. Currently, all of my stuff is in rubbermaid totes. It's such a pain when I want something from the bottom. Thanks for the giveaway, and enjoy the new pool.
I would use it to hold my stockpile items from couponing! Also, moving in a week and I'm sure I could find 100 uses for it!
No pool but I absolutely need another storage source in my pantry… I loved all of your photos of what you did…
I just found this via google and thought I would enter…

I would love to use these shelves to better organize my basement!
This would be perfect on my back porch, used in the same manner
Organizing my garage when me move this summer to a new house!
We need this in our basement! We don't have a garage, so the basement gets cluttered.
Craft storage in the basement!
Love all your organizational ideas! No pool here in frigid Iowa, but the shelf would be handy in so many other areas of my home!
I'd use this shelf in my office/craft room!
I would use it in my garage for all of the things that just get thrown in there.
I would love this shelving unit – I would straighten up our mud room big time.
I have so many places I would use these nice shelves — laundry room, craft room, office, garage, gardening area. But I will probably use it in the craft room. That's the space that needs the most help. 😉
I would use it in my laundry room which is in the garage.
when i was reading along and saw those hooks off the side, I thought "brilliant – a place to hang the wet towels when they come back in." As I scrolled down and saw that was NOT your use for it I was surprised, but like how you used them too. But you might consider adding a couple more for wet towels. I wish I had a pool, but I have 101 uses for just such a self in my house for sure – we have 5 kids and organizing is my passion too (and my necessity) 🙂
i will use it for my stock pile i have from couponing!
Here in snowy Indiana, my decks are covered with snow and the temp is hovering around freeze your face off -4 degrees and that's not including windchill.Your sunny pool area looks great. Can't wait until I can organize, be outside, but NOT today!
Like your blog I keep reading every day your posts.I am looking to organize my laundry room and the garage.
I would use it to organize bedding and blankets.
I would love to have this in my sewing area for all my fabrics and craft supplies.
I will use it in my laundry room for clean linens since I don't currently have a linen closet. Also for picnic supplies – blankets, totes, etc… otherwise referred to as the "go" to stuff 🙂
