Of the many client projects I’ve shared, how it is possible I’ve never chatted about my custom cabinet company? Well, it’s not *my* company, it’s the company I’ve worked with exclusively for a couple years. I absolutely love everything they do! I love their staff, material, customer service, quality, options…the list is endless. When I wrapped up this stunning garage project last week, I thought I’d give them a quick shoutout. It’s Bay Home & Window.
*NOT getting paid to talk about this, guys – this is a real deal company on my referral list.
When a client wants something custom – built from the ground up (like this closet I designed with them) – these are my people. They are a corporate NAPO member so they offer clients of NAPO members a discount when referred. If you live in the Bay Area and are in need of any type of custom closet, garage or cabinet work – be sure to contact them for a quote and let them know I referred you to receive 35% off your order. No strings attached – that’s it.
Simply Done: Custom Garage Cabinet Bliss
This sweet family has the most over the top gorgeous home! Seriously, it does not belong tucked into a tiny superb of nor cal. I felt like I walked straight into a Hollywood Hills home. It’s modern, unique, open, light and absolutely gorgeous. She has impeccable taste. When she asked to take a look at her garage, I knew we had to make this space equally as beautiful.
She chose a walnut cabinet with several fun interior cabinet components and upgrades. We also epoxied the garage floor. *drool* This garage is seriously like a showroom now! Once the cabinets were installed, I returned to organize the contents, hang a couple utility holders, and design a wall for the bikes and skateboards to hang.
We chose oversized cabinets that made room for everything. Great cabinets and design = means all you’ll need is simple organization and containment. Nothing fancy. Just zone it off…
Before
You can definitely see the need for a utility holder for the brooms / mops…
Her ultimate goal was to have every last item up off the floor so that she could hose out the garage every week. Garage floors get really dirty! Especially when it’s been raining for weeks on end, as it has been here.
Some after shots
( my favorite outdoor / weather-proof bins )
The small cabinet and countertop is right outside the door to the house. We relocated her Costco stash to this space for ease of grabbing…
This is now one of my favorite walls. Possibly of all time…
( my favorite utility organizer )
We included one huge oversized cabinet for all of the family’s shoes. Look at those brooms and mops now! #inlove
I’m finalizing the bike / skateboard wall design and will share that once it’s installed. Her garage is seriously amazing! Incredible the space you create in a garage when you really TRULY only keep the items you use. She was ruthless on donating items without my input.
Have any garage organizing plans on tap for the spring?
Thanks for reading, guys! Happy organizing!
Love the garage overhaul. What is the approximate cost of expoxying the floor? I have a 2-1/2 car garage.
