Be prepared – photo overload here! Can you blame me? This is cause for serious celebration – my new outdoor patio is completed and the table is in place. Do I have a few more additions to make? Sure, all in time (and budget!). But for now I’m just so beyond grateful to have this last patch of dirt completely covered. And it’s given us a brand new space to relax, enjoy company and sit in peace….because, as you can bet, I will absolutely be sitting out here to work on my laptop whenever the opportunity presents.
WHERE WE LEFT OFF
If you missed the previous posts for this project —> my project announcement, demo & prepping for the concrete pour, and finishing the brick path and the table arrives.
The backyard has certainly come a long way in 4 years!…
Once the brick path was completed, I couldn’t wait to run outside with my camera. Ready, set go…
The redwood trees are so beautiful here…
We are still totally in love with the pool. It gets a ton of use!
With the pool fence now down and the finished pool deck, we have tons of room for lounge chairs. And I’m buying at the perfect time – everything summer is on major sale.
I am so in love with the updated brick path. We used all the same bricks – each was dusted and cleaned before cutting and placing. Nothing went to waste!
NEW PATIO TABLE
To say I’m obsessed is an understatement…
There truly is no better table for this space. Love the concrete top and love that the legs fit in with the surrounding redwoods. Love it!!
Also love that it was on sale and I was able to use my trade discount. Saved a ton of money!
( table | arm chair | standard chair )
Even found the perfect spot for the BBQ…which previously was sticking out like a sore thumb on the opposite end of the pool deck. It’s now in the perfect spot near the table…
Counting my blessings over this space! The timing just couldn’t have come together more perfectly. My favorite concrete contractor was available, the table and chairs were on sale, and we still have time to enjoy this new space through the end of summer and well into fall!
Next up on the list is scoping out lounge chairs and a few umbrellas. But that laundry room of mine is still on my hit list – so that may just come first!
Hope you enjoyed seeing this space transform along with me! And I hope you too are enjoying your summer!
Beautiful! You have a lot of room in your backyard! And the redwoods are magical!
It looks so beautiful! I can see why you were working out there the other day….what a great outdoor space;-)
