A few weeks ago I shared a few organized spaces in the home of the most adorable senior couple. Remember this…
They really have the most exquisite home. And when I say they are adorable…they truly are! I think I say that about everyone who hires me. Maybe I’ve been lucky, but they really are all the nicest – and most adorable – people.
Simply Done: A Simple Home Office
Anyway, a few weeks ago I headed back to their home as we were awaiting the arrival of a new office set up for her. They have a room that doubles as her workout space and home office. Well, more like she was dreaming of a room that played those double roles. This is where we were previously…
They love Pottery Barn (who doesn’t), so they chose a few pieces with my professional opinion in mind. The wall we were working with wasn’t huge and the volume of stuff she had to contain was minimal. We chose a simple but beautiful desk as well as a storage piece to keep nearby for books, photos and journals. She enjoys writing, especially during their travels.

Here I was mid-organization…you can already see what an improvement this is!…
But here’s her new desk in all its beautiful glory. Love this one!…
( desk )
It’s the small Ava desk from Pottery Barn and it’s the perfect size for her needs. Or maybe you didn’t even see the desk because that ceiling caught my attention too!
Storage
For her extra storage, we chose 2 of the Logan Collection pieces.

This fits perfectly in the little niche between the windows and provides more than enough space for her. You can bet I organized those desk drawers because you know I don’t waste a single opportunity to set up these systems for maximum efficiency! And Poppin drawer dividers are always the perfect solution.

I’m trying to be better about snapping before / afters when appropriate. I managed to snap this little selfie in her office the day we ordered the furniture…
And the after, so you can really see the improvement…
Blissful Organized Office Space
She is already enjoying the space so much, which I love to hear. Nothing satisfies me more than knowing a space that once was a pain point, tough to look at and not being used to its potential is now totally loved.
If you have a small office space, this is a great little desk! And because I can’t resist…this drawer once more please!…
Speaking of the Pottery Barn desk, I’ve been wanting to mention that I was recently accepted into a very special Pottery Barn program for professionals. My clients can now receive an exclusive discount by simply shopping through me. It’s true! This isn’t available to the public, is available all year and is applicable on top of sale prices. You don’t have to be local to work with me on this program either. So….if you have your eye on anything Pottery Barn brand (this includes every brand under their umbrella) please e-mail me for more info. I’d love to see you make the most of your spaces by filling them with something you love…and by saving you some money!
I’ve been working in LA all week for a couple very special clients. Remember this closet?…
I was back this week for a little closet / bathroom updating. As you can imagine…was in total heaven! Can’t wait to share more soon!
Hope you’re having a great week too!

Everything looks so neat and clean. I love it! Thank you for sharing.
Those drawer dividers make me swoon. Only an office supply geek would understand! I’ve made do for years with utensil dividers. They work – mostly – but those modular dividers are a much more efficient use of space. And I love how the white background makes the colors of the office supplies pop.
Thank you! I agree 100% – love love these drawer dividers. They really make working in the office a bit more bearable. 🙂

Sam
Where did you get the white furnitures
Hi,
